This is Sunrise at North Window in windows section, Arches National Park. The arch seen from Northern window is turret arch. This is very famous sunrise spot in arches national park.
It was my first visit to arches and i was carrying #Photographing Southwest Vol1 and Vol2 books by Laurent to make sure i visit most recommended places. Initally getting to this spot to get this shot was bit difficult as it involves bit of rock climbing. Later i found better way out and it was relatively easier for me to get to this spot again in morning before sunrise.
During summer sun rises from angle which cast part of this window with shadows, you need to reach this arch ~30 mins before sunset to get first light otherwise part of window will be in shadows..
Photo Details:
Nikon D800, Nikon 16-35 F4 @ 35mm , ISO 100, F11 1/2 sec and hand blended with another shot for sky.
